My family and I have traveled all over the United States, camping along the way. Over the years, our camping experience changed from a tent to an RV. I looked high and low for camping books to take along on our family's adventures. While general camping books abounded, specific books featuring RVs were nowhere to be found. So I decided that I'd write one - one my boys would love! I hope your family will enjoy the book, as well! See you on the trails! Loretta
About the Author
Loretta Sponsler was born and raised in New Mexico, currently lives in Colorado, and travels all over the country, although the West holds a particular spot in her heart. She has a degree in journalism and worked most of her career as a technical writer and editor with the U.S. Government. Now Loretta is a full-time mom, part-time writer. Loretta and her family, complete with three young boys, have traveled all over the United States, pulling a travel trailer and camping along the way.

Great book! One copy is not enough!

I ordered 4 copies of this cute book to give as Christmas gifts to my friends' kids; however, when my family saw the book this past weekend they loved it so much I ended up giving them all of the copies I had. So, I will definitely be purchasing more copies now! This book's fun rhyming text and colorful illustrations do a wonderful job of capturing the varied experiences, adventures, and beauty of camping. My family, kids and adults alike, love this book and can't wait to play Campsite Bingo (found at the end of the book) on our next camping trip. This book will have a special place in our camper!

We are RVers and love this book for our grandbabies. It makes them want to go outside and explore and enjoy this wonderful thing called "nature". Exercise and fresh air and the amazing animals, sparkling waterways, and diverse plant life is something they should not miss!
This is a great book to inspire children to want to see, smell, touch, hear and yes even taste the great outdoors.
GO CAMPING, GO FISHING, GO HIKING, DO IT ALL AND GET A BEAUTIFUL RESTFUL NIGHT SLEEP!
